THE ULTIMATE CONSTRUCTION GLOVES

Worker Glove Safety for Foundation Drilling Construction

We asked the superintendent what kind of construction gloves he prefers in foundation drilling. He describes the ultimate glove for worker safety with 3 vital components:

  • Breathable Rubber
  • Built-in Knuckle Busters
  • Cut Resistance of 4 or Higher

Breathable Rubber
This supervisor’s team works with grout. Grout burns. To protect the guys from grout burns they need rubber construction gloves. The rubber needs to go all the way up to the upper cuff, so their sleeves can provide complete coverage. Breathable rubber makes the construction gloves much more comfortable, while still giving a lot of protection against the grout.

Built-in Knuckle Busters
Knuckle busters are PVC dots in critical spots of gloves to protect the workers’ hands from impacts. The guys working around the drill rigs and in front of the drill rigs deal a lot with heavy equipment and steel. There is a lot of potential for hits and impacts. Having that knuckle buster helps protect hands from getting jammed or seriously banged up.

Cut Resistant of 4 or Higher
Cut resistant construction gloves protect the wearer’s hands from cuts and punctures while working with or around sharp tools and other sharp items. A cut resistance of 4 or higher means the guys hands are safe from cuts that are typical in drilling foundation construction work.

This superintendent knows exactly what construction gloves are ideal for his team to wear for the highest safety levels.
