Every year, since 2002, Habitat for Humanity has built 2 homes in 2 weeks for families in need in the Birmingham area. The Alabama Associated General Contractors of America sponsors a team of Construction Leadership Council members to assist with the project. The Home for the Holidays project has 21 corporate sponsors. Representatives from each sponsor are out on the site working to make this dream a reality for the new homeowners.
Jill Gray, her two boys and her sister and family move into their new home to celebrate Christmas this year. With these 2 weeks of concentrated effort from the many caring sponsors, the Gray family will be able to enjoy their home for many years to come.
